I'm not sure how Sirota provoked intelligent thought when most of his diatribes were irrational and erroneous. Sure, he writes and speaks well, it's just that most of what he writes or says is just so much BS -- he reminds me of Henry Higgins' comment about the French in Why Can't the English?: "the French don't care what they do actually as long as they pronounce it properly." Walter Williams would eat Sirota alive.
