It's the "Low Profile Chest Rig" from Blackhawk. I think it would work the best for what you are asking about.
Couple of problems with that rig. The pistol mags are on the wrong side for him, since he's left handed. The rifle mags are ok on what will be his weak side, but theres not an area for a dedicated I-F-A-K/Medical kit. And since it's all sewn in place, it can't be reconfigured without some difficulty.

Ok, stupid *** question, why does the filter bust a gasket over F-A-K (without the dashes)? All it stands for is First Aid Kit.
