    Eh, it's DPMS, fair to midland. but if the price is right for you and it's your entry into AR's.. I'd still suggest doing your research and deciding what it is you want to do with your AR, then go from there.

    Cool help,new to the ar world

    I am new to ars price is an issue. I can't afford an uber expensive rifle. so.. that's why I am asking, you said its a dpms right? is that bad? help me out. I am looking for a entry ar affordable price. everyone has an opinion. please throw a few at me.

    I think $699 for any new AR would be a decent price.

    But it's your money buy whatever you like!

    I don't see a FA either...but, there are those who claim not to need one..


    I, on the other hand, know nothing but (well, I did have an original AR-15 w/o one) but I've got a bajillion more hours on the M16A1 and M4A1 that had one, so I wouldn't feel comfortable w/o it. (all my BM's have FA) (YMMV)

    I'd point you to the CMMG bargain bin rifles if price is an issue and you're not fixated on a name brand. Good rifles and they are the best deal going on for full rifles right now.
