Depending on what "Loosened up" entails repair may not be cost effective.

No offense to Bert who's done a lot of work for me, but call this guy: http://www.bertramandco.com/, he only does shotguns and rifles. but a Savage O/U isn't worth fixing, I can tell you that.

I have some cheap guns that have been passed down and would pay 10 times ther value to keep them running. You never know why he wants it fixed.
