Just to toss in my $0.02: I daresay we want this to be a LAWFUL and PEACEFUL demonstration. Personally, I strongly advise against any display of firearms. If you have a CHP, by all means carry concealed. But keep in mind, open carry/open display of firearms is against the law in the City and Sovereign Nation - excuse me, County - of Denver. Also, according to a couple cop friends of mine, Denver PD is aware that this event is in the works, and I don't doubt for one second that they'll have a strong presence of their own, and will be watching the participants like hawks waiting for somebody to do something stupid. That said, if I can do some horse-trading of work shifts, I'll be there, dressed respectably and carrying concealed.

Of course... this is a PEACEFUL assembly and there should be no open carry or display of firearms since it is not allowed in the Denver metro area. By all means... carry concealed if you have the permit (many of us will be). Bring your signs, bring your American Flags, bring your friends and family! Let's have a great, peaceful assembly and a great time... I'm looking forwarding to meeting some new friends and range buddies while there!

It really sucks that the Broncos lost... hell of a game... but the silver lining is not having a game that weekend means there SHOULD be an even greater turnout at the march!

I will likely be there. I think it would be a good idea for COAR 15 members to be represented as a group, together, perhaps with appropriate signage?

Any ideas on where we could meet up beforehand? I'm up for carpooling with anyone from the Greeley area if there's interest.

The Avs are out of town... so that won't be an excuse. I'm also gonna set my DVR to record the game... so that won't be an excuse either. Though I'll probably be recording a different game (Blues vs Redwings). GO BLUES!
