Polishing

Hey everyone,

I'm looking into polishing the trigger bar, sear and striker on my M&P and was wondering what would be good to use.

I ran out to my local parts store and grabbed some 1000, 1500, 2000 and 3000 grit sand paper thinking that would work, but I wanted to get everyone's opinion first before I started.

I'm also curious as to if anyone knows the "grits" or what type of files are used to reshape the sear as see here. http://www.burwellguns.com/misc/M&Ptriggerjob.pdf
