    Haven't had to do the timing cover gasket yet, as far as I know people pull the pumps from a 1st gen dodge to do the a/c compressor to air tank idea. That thought has definitely crossed my mind just don't know where to put a tank.

    Well guys i think the jettas the ticket as backup and i thinkin if sellin the jeep and buyin a 3/4 ton diesel dodge. Chop bed cut fenders , ranch hand bumpers and go. Wanna buy a lifted locked skid plated tj with winch , inverter, safari rack , basket and roof box ?

    What year is the jetta? IF it's newer, it won't be safe against EMP.

    True it's 2012. But my jeep isn't either. Nothing but my dirtbikes are. Humm. Option 3 b

    To old to run these days but I like mine. Could use some extras but it is OK the way it is. 98 12V 5 speed. Manual Fuel override no batteries needed. Click image for larger version.

    Several diesel heads here. Anyone done gauges on a 24v? EGT, fuel pressure & boost. Have the gauges, just never done an install. A reputable shop in NoCo would also be welcome if I can't find someone to help me do it (over a couple of quality craft beers of course).

    Rocky mountain diesel is good.

    Gotta do my pods eventually also.
