Sorry I didn't see this sooner. We've had Rob (Maxtorq) do a bunch of work on our trucks. In fact he did the gauges on my son's first gen. He's also an Air Force guy. He also runs this site: http://www.dieselram.com/

Rob a great guy to do business with. He did the twin Turbo setup on my buddies cummins and did some last minute stuff on mine and MT dads Chevys. His 67 is gonna be sick when he's done with it

Thanks for the links. I'll check em out. I'd like to do the install myself with help so I can learn and of course be more in tune with mods to my truck... the cost is also an issue. That RV is b@d@$$. I see rockwells. Tough axles. I'd like to see it armored up like something out of the old A-team or the bus from The Gauntlet.

being serious... I have a chevy 2500 on 37s. just spending money on reliability. I have a CB in there. fullsize spare, couple jerrys (need mounts if anyone is selling), hi lift etc. I am worried about gas mileage but the world is only going to last so long anyway lol

Definitely cool, but huge, expensive, and difficult to move safely/quietly.

Go for reliability and capacity. If you are scooting out of town due to natural disaster, the more your vehicle can carry, the better. In a situation like that, everyone's nerves are beyond frayed because in some situations, people realize they will be returning to nothing more than a concrete slab, if that, so if you just happen to own a school bus, that'd be ideal as you could put a lot of important things in it and take them to safety with you.
