    Exclamation Maintenance reminder

    Check your carry equipment regularly!

I was walking through a store today and was like WTF!???

Carry piece felt all weird like it was sliding down my leg.

Got back to the truck and the threaded river had come undone and the belt loop on my holster was no longer attached to my holster.! Thank goodness the rivet had fell down my pant leg and into my boot! Fingered it back together. Got home and re snugged everything and my other holsters. Some had some loose screws also.

So just a friendly reminder to check your equipment regularly!!!

There are more than enough loose screws running around this board......

That's my one complaint with my holster. The clips loosen daily it seems like.

Still breaking in my new Comp-Tac Infidel IWB and one of the retention screws got loosened from walking (I had to loosen it a bit so I could actually draw the gun) and was rattling... YIKES, luckily I caught it before leaving the house... Tin, nothing makes you crap yourself more than equipment running down your leg... I know the feeling. Good reminder!

I blow out the fuzz and oil mine once a week. It's more an opportunity to fondle than anything else.

I usually blow mine off, good wipe down usually every other week. Due to the nature of my work environment, metal shaving/metal dust, I stay on top of it.

Need to throw my holsters in with the bi weekly wipe down!!

If it's been a while remember to swap out that old carry ammo as well. I can't imagine many things worse than needing your gun to go boom, and hearing a click instead.

I fully check my equipment every time I put it on and every time I take it off. Only way to be sure.
