Caveat! He did make a point that the mother of the CT shooter (I will not give him more publicity, he will not be named) was very irresponsible in having her weapons unsecured. It's fine to take your mentally ill child shooting under SAFE, CONTROLLED situations, but due to his inability to function normally in society (we haven't seen much on the family's background, did the kid have outbursts, anger issues, etc? Oh sorry, that doesn't fit the anti's agenda) she should have had those guns locked up. I know if I had a child under the age of 15 (personal beliefs) in my household, be it my own or other, I would keep all my guns locked up in a safe (minus my EDC which wouldn't leave my sight)... it's just good safety practices.
