Rating Scores Repeat Basic Practical This rating is achieved by completing the practical exercise conducted during an NRA Basic Shotgun Course.
1. Pro-Marksman 10 or better out of 50 targets 2 times
2. Marksman 16 or better out of 50 targets 4 times
3. Marksman 1st Class 20 or better out of 50 targets 4 times
4. Sharpshooter 22 or better out of 50 targets 5 times
5. Expert 52 or better out of 100 targets 3 times
6. Distinguished Expert 60 or better out of 100 targets 3 times, or 57 or
better out of 100 targets in 2 NSCA shoots.

It's not as easy as it looks and if you ever shot Sporting Clays or Trap you'd know that. Breaking 60 out of 100 Three times is pretty dang good in my book. We do it for fun and there's no real pressure, So come out and school us. The rest of those guys are shooting in leagues and teams and there very serious about the game and their equipment.
