    Default New guy...

    Hello,

    Just registered, I'm in Berthoud. New to the AR15 as I just put one together myself from parts (Double Star) and have yet to really get to know it. It's all new stuff to me so I'm here for your insights and suggestions. I'm limited on cash so it's pretty simple, it's a 16" collapsible stock A4 style flat top with a Yankee Hill flip up and a cheapy red dot. I want to get something nicer for it and get the forward guard off to put a rail on for a light. Shot it once, really like it. Needs some sight in time.

    I've been building AK's from kits but kinda done with that. Just got a Carl Gustav 6.5x55 Swede in Boulder, and I bow hunt. Can't wait to put the legendary off the shelf accuracy to the test... oh yeah I'm a member of the NRGC range up north.... I frequent Jensen's and Gunsport. Maybe I'll see ya around, I cna answer AK questions if you can answer some AR ones!
