It was not the true Califonians that ruined California. When I grew up California was still very much rural/agricultural, at least up north. Most in my hometown were from Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. Hard work, helping your neighbor, and respect were ground into your head at a young age. I still cannot call those 20 years my senior by their first name, or at least I always feel weird about it. Part of that culture was to start shooting at a young age (5 in my case) so that you could provide and protect your family. Those values have been lost in California as every nut bag in the country flocked there starting in the 60's.

I finally had enough and when the opportunity arose to move here to Colorado arose I jumped. It was here or Montana. I am not going to see another state that I love ruined by stupidity. My point, people of conviction and morals are from everywhere. Division helps no one.

I'm not a CO native... I moved her from CA. But I moved AWAY from CA for a reason! I'll be damned if I'm gonna let CO turn into another CA! I'm actually a Missourian... but the military has had me all over this country. My heart is in CO and I consider myself a Coloradan through and through! I'll stand up and fight for CO. I'll be there on Sat the 19th at noon... fighting for CO!

Similar background. Live in CO, own a house here, shoot in CO. Home is where you make it and I fucking hate CA libs. Denver is infested with them. Keep up the writing to Congressmen.

you know, so much of what is going on seems like you would only see it in a hollywood movie. funny thing is, if I saw what is happening in a movie, it'd probably be pretty good.

I am a Colorado Native, a 5th generation one at that. Ancestors first farm was west of what is now Monument hill in the 1860s. They were joined by other family members who fought in the civil war on both sides. Personally I worried that the socialist side of the Federal Govt and the Media (Huffington post a good example of many) appear to be pushing and pushing to attack the older American values and lifestyles. It's like the Media is constantly putting out propaganda against all the old values whether it be guns, sex, patriotism you name its under attack. When I was kid we did not the Internet or 1000 TV channels to promote the propaganda that we are seeing now. Almost all forms of entertainment have some form of subliminal message. Our culture is being change from both the media and educators. It's quite sad, however hopefully there are enough of us still left in this great country to stop this liberal socialist madness that has arisen
