Walmart is the one company that I can almost guarantee would NOT stop selling Ammo due to fear of impending legislative action or possible public outcry.

They are 150% capitalist. There are very few forces in this world that could stop Walmart from legally selling as much ammo as they possible can push through their warehouses and stores.

The stores may not be allowed to order stuff, especially the high-demand stuff, because there's simply too much demand. They ship out what they get. It's been flowing into the two I frequent, just not in sufficient quantities.

I'd heard in the past that the stores don't reorder their inventory anyway, that it's tracked by computer and reordered automatically. I could have just had smoke blown up my ass by an employee though.

The little I know about modern retail businesses would lead me to believe this. If every Walmart store manager order 1,000,000,000 rounds of .223 only the first store that ordered would get any this year.

I had my mom ask my dad about their ammo inventories(he's retired and works for a wally world). She said "Talked with dad about deliveries...it seems the only stores with ammo are the ones who over ordered. The warehouses (where the supplies come from) are empty....will let you know when that changes".

Wife is an assistant manager @ walmart... She says this is TOTAL BUNK!. She also says Walmarts can order whatever they want. Now if the warehouse doesnt have it thats a different story. Just another Walmart slam story. All you Walmart haters need to get a life!
