Seems that Walmart HQ is rejecting any new orders on ammo from their stores. They are selling out what the stores have and anything that is in stock in the warehouses.
A buddy of mine in MO was standing there at the counter when the saleslady placed an order for more .223 ammo. She was surprised it was rejected. She said she was told that Walmart is waiting to see what comes of any new legislation.

Where's our local WM contact? The web is all abuzz about this 'issue'... Hard to know what's right or wrong, but some of the forums have the contact # to call @ WM to confirm.

Geez.. the same rumor has been going around emails and the web for few weeks now. The same crap was said in 2008.

Walmart is the one company that I can almost guarantee would NOT stop selling Ammo due to fear of impending legislative action or possible public outcry.

They are 150% capitalist. There are very few forces in this world that could stop Walmart from legally selling as much ammo as they possible can push through their warehouses and stores.
