I can't decide if it's the coolest thing I've ever seen or if it's completely ridiculous...

That's not even a good tree pruner. Now a 20" Stihl 290 attached to the rail is a good start.

Its silly ... although in a jungle setting it might be slightly useful (assuming the batteries last long).

I hear "X rail" and I think of this (which is actually incredibly useful).

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

For 3-gun perhaps. Of course at ~9lbs loaded (that's just the loaded extension), the weight of the shotgun (~7 lbs), and the 5-6 lbs of lead in the stock to keep it balanced, you'd need the upper body strength of Arnold to sling it around. I guess if you can afford the $3000 price tag, hitting the gym every day isn't a big deal. The plus side is that with that much weight, the recoil would be like a .22WMR.

A 25+1 capacity is cool. I'd rather have the USAS-12 though (20+1 drum magazine).

Honestly, I'm kinda sick of all this zombie stuff... Like one of the RSOs I know "If you bought a gun because of a potential zombie outbreak, congratulations, you are a moron and you need to find a very high cliff and practice your swan dive." It was cute for about 10 seconds, now it's just annoying and lame. Just my .02
