I've been posting "positive" gun stories on my Facebook lately - stories that show guns in a good light, but don't make the MSM. Had a liberal co-worker (I've blocked his idiotic posts, but didn't unfriend him) comment on one about an armed school guard in Tennessee and how no one knows about her heroism. His comment? "Well no one remembers Neil Gardiner either".

Well, I hadn't heard of him so I did a quick search and realized, my co-worker must have picked it up from DailyKos because there was article there about Columbine in response to the NRA proposal. I also read a Denver Post article from last year about how Deputy Gardiner hadn't been wearing his prescription glasses that day, only uncorrected sunglasses. So I replied back to him to point that out as well as the fact that police tactics have changed significantly since then.

Any guesses on what the response was?

Dead silence. Which reminded me of the reason I blocked him in the first place. Even though this is a highly educated person, who has much respect in his profession, when it comes to political topics and liberal talking points he is not interested in facts and engages in the same liberal debating "tactics" they use on MSNBC - ignore, discount, and insult. That type is simply not interested in facts, logic, or reason in these areas of thought.

    Solution.

Did that a couple years ago and my life has been significantly better ever since.
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

Uh.. Claymores and RPGs are both legal to own.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

Have you posted something like this yet?

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Germany established gun control in 1938. From 1939 to 1945, 13 million jewish people and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million "educated" people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
There are also other accounts that I don't feel like posting... The point is, in the last 100 years + or - a few, over 56 million people have been round up and killed after a government established gun control. Do you think that is a coincidence? There is a reason that the founding fathers put the second amendment in our constitution, and it wasn't so we could hunt, it was for self defense. So, while most liberals say that there is no need for a people to fear its government, 56 million dead people would beg to differ.
If you make something idiot proof, someone will make a better idiot... Forget youth, what we need is a fountain of smart. There are no stupid questions, just a lot of inquisitive idiots.
