update to my sisters tumor

So its cancer, osteosarcoma if i remember and spelled it correct. The family is still in shock and her younger kids dont know about it. She had a scan done friday to see if it spread to her lungs and a bone svan will be done tomorrow to see if its in any other bones. If it hasent spread the plan of action is to remove the shoulder joint and bone from elbow to shoulder. Replace shoulder joint with a metal one and use a cadaver bone in the arm.
the road to recovery will be a hard one and she wont have 100% movent ahain but she will keep her limb and her hair. No radiation treatment "IF" it is isolated to the one area. Im praying its just the one tumor. I will keep everyone updated to her progress. Thanks guys.

Prayers sent. I know what your family is going through, my wife (mother of 3 under 5), was diagnosed last May with osteosarcoma. It has been a real battle since.
