When the rumor started spreading that private party sales might require FFL transfer nationwide, or at least in CO, everyone started dumping their extra guns ASAP. Armslist postings have quadrupled, and a lot of them are marked up well over double blue book value . . . and people are paying those prices to avoid a paper trail.
