Out of ALL the forums I'm on (mostly car/truck/motorcycle), THIS forum seems to have a plague of duplicate threads / reposts every single day. On the others it's a rare incident once a week a month at most, strange...

I have had the repost police get on me for some stuff, hey it is going to happen. I personally do not have time to search through hundreds of posts just to make sure it has not been posted, most of the time I try. You have X amount of people on a Forum there is going to be some duplicate threads. I do not live on here so I am not current on a lot of things going on. I am not trying to stir the pot just trying to make a point. Also I have looked for things that were worded differently than I posted and ended up being a repost, that might be a big part of it.

In Atrains defense, I tried to find that thread through the search last night but despite knowing exactly what I was looking for, I had no luck.

It doesn't help when the thread title is something super informative like "ZOMGWTFBBQ you're not going to believe this!!!. . . . ." and then you open it and it's just a link to a random blog, with no description or copy/paste effort.

If people could learn to write a thread title.

That's another thing I've noticed on THIS forum specifically. TONS of people enjoy writing those purposely vague thread titles that make you have to go look in, or just ignore them altogether. Much more than ANY other forum, strange. I've successfully eradicated that practice on my own forum CRN. Different breed of forum n0obs over here I guess, heheh.
