I got there a little after 9am. Everyone in the store had 2 in hand. When I left at 10am, there were about a dozen left.

Kudos to Jensen Arms for getting them in stock and continuing to sell them under $20

Apparently Jensens was telling people today that their would be no grandfather clause under the new proposed legislation.

Did they tell you this or someone else? Until the actual document is up for a final vote, rumors and hearsay are running rampant. I wonder how this new "law" will affect denver as they went to court to exercise their Home Rule status. Which By Law gave them the right to restrict mag limit to 20 rounds. Oh the confusion and royal fukin the libs have given everyone.

I was there yesterday speaking with the owner and the manager and heard no such thing.

I believe there was even some discussion of this in the legislative thread and people were saying the bill states that they would be a grandfathering and asking how they could keep track of which mags were "pre-ban" since they don't have serial numbers.
I looked at some of my Ronan USGI mags and they appear to have a date stamp on them though...

If they make it so that you can not transfer them then that is messed up and should lead to a lawsuit

Most if not all AR mags have ID marks and or date stamped that were mfg after 9/94. Exception being those holding 10 or less rounds. Remember there are now (or soon to be) 2 different MFG dates of Pre ban mags one for prior to 9/94 and earlier for states not effected by any restrictions.
Some pre 9/94 mags had no date of mfg, others did which can be located on side of body or (some) inside. POST 2004 AWB sunset and all made after 9/94 have dates and or marked RESTRICTED LE/MIL The new Ban Era for us lucky enough to be in states obsessed with SAFETY anything mfg (if passed) and date stamped prior to 7/2013, will be legal.

I see the date on the packaging for both the USGI and PMag, but where is it on the actual PMag itself? Is the "CAGE1LX50" some kind of code?
Now the USGI mags I have have stamped dates on them...

Magpul testified on Tuesday that they have date stamped their mags since 2007.
