    The recievers have always been a spray and bake finish.

    Its a 22. Its not like the barrel band is holding back 62,000 psi. It just keeps constant pressure to keep the POI from shifting too much.

    i was referring to plastic next to a hot barrel.

    The finish on the new receivers looks slightly better than krylon...

    From the Wal-Mart post, the smooth triggers are the old metal design and the grooved triggers are on the new plastic ones.
