    Interesting stats but they toss credibility out the window by listing countries that allow private ownership of guns and then state that those countries have "100% gun bans". I don't doubt the numbers but I've lived in some of those countries and civilian ownership of guns isn't only legal, it's more lenient than it is in the U.S.

    I have no interest whatsoever in tightening U.S. gun laws but don't want to stoop to misinformation like the anti-gun groups do. I'd like to think proponents of continued responsible firearm ownership can prevail on facts rather than hyperbole.

    What hatidua said, many of those countries allow civilian firearm ownership.
