The alternative is an underquilt. I've got a synthetic 3/4 underquilt that is good down to 25 degrees or so and weighs 20oz.

I've been setting up the hammock in a local natural area on Saturday mornings. I'm really looking forward to the mountains warming up.

I'm getting by with a $20 Yukon Walkabout Rainfly for the time being.

Breaking in the kayaks at Barr Lake.

Testing stability. Suns out, farmer's tan out?

Here I've modified the kayak to hold a fishing pole.

Finished the night at Jet Car Nationals. 'Murica!

You should take the kayaks up to Gross Reservoir when you get a chance.

Looked it up and thank you. This is exactly the kind of recommendation I've been seeking. No power boats and close to metro area.
