No, he watered down an AWB that was pushed by the Democrat controlled Taxachusetts Legislature and actually increased freedom a bit in that rabidly leftist state. The Massachusetts gun owners organizations have been real clear that he was a good guy when it came to guns. We debated the dog poo out of that here back in October.

I don't think we'd even be talking about some of the more dire proposals if Romney had won the election. Some of you really need to remove your craniums from your posteriors about equating Romney and establishment Republicans with Obama, Pelosi, Feinstein, Schumer, etc. In many cases, the GOP has bent over only because they knew they were going to lose on an issue and felt the best they could do was to blunt the loss.
