    16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes. Why would that be a concern for non-mental health professionals to ask their patients? "I'm here for the flu." "You got firearms in your house?" I can't imagine doctors and nurses asking this question.
Really? We switched the kids doctors because they asked about firearms many years ago. Many doctors medical health forms ask about smoking, alcohol, seat belts and more recently, firearms. Now they are going to be asking kids even more questions when they go see the school nurse. Not criticsing, but your imagination is way too deeply rooted in common sense.

Reid put something into ObamaCare prohibiting this, now they want to take it out...

I guess my wife and I are going to decent doctors as that isn't on their checkoff list prior to seeing the doc. I can see asking about tobacco and alcohol as it directly relates to my health. Firearms??? I can't make the connection. I guess I'm dumb.
“Every good citizen makes his country's honor his own, and cherishes it not only as precious but as sacred. He is willing to risk his life in its defense and is conscious that he gains protection while he gives it.” Andrew Jackson

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Simply put an "N/A" on the form. Don't say yes or no and don't leave it blank. Just N/A because that is what it is . . . not applicable.
