California transplants and hispanic immigrants. We've gotten about a million of them in the past 15 years, and that's skewed the state from solid red to pale blue. Mostly concentrated in the Denver-Boulder axis of evil.

Tom Tancredo lost because he did not have the (R) next to his name on the ballot.

Edit, it would have been close but Hick still got more votes than the other 2 combined. His views are likely too extreme for the modern CO.

Do you think if he just toned it done a little he could have won? or was being a 3 party guy just doomed from the start? Has the guy talked about running for office again?

Colorado has a whole lot of transplants from both coasts, most of whom bring their politics with them.

No, Tancredo would have won if the Republican party would have dumped the idiot they had (who lied to the party from the get-go) and run Tancredo instead. Yes The Hick got more votes than both combined, but a big part of that is because many Colorado Republicans and Conservatives just stayed home because of the mess.

Now that pot is legal here expect it to get worse.

If they get their gun control fantasies here expect more conservatives to leave thus making it even worse.

Unless the current libtard gun control fetish causes the state to backlash and go red again, I have very little hope for the future of Colorado (soon to be renamed East California).

I also have to take a little umbrage at criticism from someone in Harry Reid's district

Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".
