Weld County Sheriff Cooke is the latest Sheriff to get on the bandwagon.

Weld County Sheriff John Cooke, along with some other elected officials across the country, is voicing vehement opposition to President Barack Obama’s sweeping plan to address gun violence, calling the proposal “out of line” and saying he refuses to enforce any part of it....


all these Sheriffs saying this is for show though. They already enforce laws that are unconstitutional. I guess these "common sense" gun laws are more unconstitutional.

I wouldn't be so sure it's all for show.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Right or wrong, some Unconstitutional laws are more bearable than others. Maybe this is where they draw the line.

I appreciate the sentiment but only time will tell if Sheriff Cook as well as the others that have stepped forward are willing to stand by their word.

Agreed, we need these Sheriffs across the state that have stated they won't put up with Obama's unconstitutional gun grabs to tell Hickenlooper that the same goes for him.
