Park and Garfield county sheriffs have also taken the same stance. Rumor is the state sheriff's association is going to do the same.
As a State legislative body, what do you do when a growing part of the LEOs are stating don't pass it we won't enforce it? Have the Governor call up the National Guard, where this could go from there gets dicey at best.
(I am 100% behind these sheriffs, I am just mildly fearful of what actions may be taken to enforce something the local LEOs won't touch.)
