    Dudley,

We really do appreciate your hard work. We know it can be like banging your head against a wall and it would feel so good if you could stop.. We really do want you there fighting for all of us. Some of us just wish you would play nicer with some of the other kids in the sandbox -- I didn't say back down, just wish 2AF, RMGO, NRA, 2AM Sisters, JFTPFO, etc. could all get together to provide a common and unified voice. I know big dreams - but we can hope.

Sorry to sidetrack the discussion about spam.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

Best way to get in to see me at the shop is to call or email Shannon and make an appointment.

Me, too. Wish we were all on the same page.

And where we are, we'll happily stand against the gun-grabbers.

Where we AREN'T on the same page, we'll still fight. And there are MANY areas of disagreement right now. Mental Health databases? Can you think of a better way to disarm America than to let therapists (99.9% of whom are leftist gun haters) have a little box to check on their eval forms that says "Patient unstable, recommend hold on firearms purchases" that they're required to submit to some national database? No, we're not "united" on that front. Never will be.

In Colorado, the real politics are happening right now....in small rooms in the Capitol, where "our friends" are cutting deals. I used to be asked to be a party to those deals (18 years or more ago).

Gun control passes because of those deals. And we won't be a part of them -- in fact, we'll expose the people cutting those deals, and do so publicly.

Doing that angers people (not just politicians, but the lobbyists who serve them). Heck, it angers people on this board. Sorry.

Really, cause if a group is not competent enough to figure out the email campaign and not spam its members or future members I am not sure I would trust them to handle the more important things like the actual firearm related issues.

As a rule if I get spammed by a group or person enough I will make it so I never see the emails by having them blackholed. So if that is the goal then spamming is working.

    Mr Brown,
Thank you for responding and for all your efforts on our behalf. I just sent in my renewal earlier this week.

When possible, I'll respond on this forum.

To be frank, I'm just as much an "AR-15" guy as anyone here. Hell, RMGO uses it as it's logo.

And I have the guts to stand toe-to-toe with my detractors and answer their questions.

But at some point, there's no satisfying some. Those I ignore.

Not wasting time trying to satisfy your detractors is completely understandable. Actively irritating would-be supporters to the point of turning them into detractors & non-supporters is what I don't get.
