Isnt the policy though that other than schools and government buildings, they have to visually post no gun signs for the law to be followed? I was under the impression buildings that do not want carrying to happy has to post at every entrance? I could be wrong though

I've not seen any CRS that indicates signage is required (...some states have a signage requirement). Only that private property owners have the right to basically ask you to leave if they don't want you there for any or no reason. All, including CCW holders, are required to honor their request to leave or face possible arrest and prosecution...if caught and the private property owner wants to press charges.

I "Think" the charges are 3rd degree Crimial Tresspass.
    18-4-504. Third degree criminal trespass
    (1) A person commits the crime of third degree criminal trespass if such person unlawfully enters or remains in or upon premises of another.
18-12-214. Authority granted by permit - carrying restrictions
    (5) Nothing in this part 2 shall be construed to limit, restrict, or prohibit in any manner the existing rights of a private property owner, private tenant, private employer, or private business entity.

I swear I saw a picture of a a "no guns allowed" sticker on the window of that theater at one point. Basically if it isn't a school or a federal building and they aren't using metal detectors at the door, then you can conceal carry. If the theater sees that you are carrying concealed then they can ask you to leave. If you don't leave, then you have a problem. Then again, if you are carrying concealed and someone sees it, then you should probably go home and rethink your concealment strategy anyway.

Hopefully they have reviewed their policy on that though.

I went there today with my wife and daughter. No signage anywhere that we saw, includeing any of the entrence doors or walls behind the ticket counter. There was a noticeable police presence of at least 6 to 8 near the front and inside.

AMC's have always been weapon free. When I for my first job there when I was 14 they wouldn't let me carry my spyderco police to break down boxes in the back. The AMC I always worked at ALWAYS had security except in the early mornings.
