total friggin idiot...that being said, I have on a few occasions needed to go into a store with rifle in-tow since I drive a jeep and am not about to just leave it lying in the back (in the open), but using a soft-case (with shoulder-strap) goes one hell of a long way towards staying low-profile, and letting an employee near the entrance know what you’re doing probably doesn’t hurt either. Hell, one time I even had a store manager ask if he could check it out and then start asking about build-details
