    Default Need some input...help

Alright everyone, so here I am....faced with a tough decision.

I posted my AR on armslist with no actual intent to sell it, just to see what kind of hits I got.

But now I have a guy with a serious, really quite good offer, I know that his offer is being promoted by the market value right now and the lack of availability of these types of firearms, and especially at the quality of which mine is.

    Now, here is the thing....

After I built and shot my AR, I kinda wished that I had gone with a shorter barrel, to either a 14.5" and file NFA paperwork, or 14.5" with a pinned flash hider..

Everything else is perfect on it, I may change some cosmetic things...but otherwise, I really like my rifle..

So I KNOW I could Rebuild another one for the offer he is throwing out at me, but that was with the market doing what it was when I FIRST built mine...

So....now I have to decide, do I take the offer on my Used AR with 0% Depreciation and make a decent profit off it with the hope that an AWB wont pass and I could actually rebuild it some time later.....exactly how I want it now that I've learned.

OR.....do I risk an AWB passing and being out of my battle rifle...money is great....but I'd rather have my rifle in case shit really goes south.

Given the fact you may not be able to replace it. Nay

Things really will go south; not a matter of 'if' but 'when'. I believe in the not so distant future. For what it's worth, what I have, I'm keeping.

This. The only guaranteed rifle that you have is the one that you possess.

Thanks guys, you're all really just confirming the line of thought I'm already on.

It unfortunately is my only one, I consolidated weapons and calipers down to 4 of my best quality guns. or the ones I had the most work into, I got tired of buying 10 different calibers of ammunition.

If it wasn't my only AR...then I might think less about it and see the numbers...

Really what I'm playing now is..........1) If I sell it and the ban doesn't pass, I'm patient man and can wait for the prices to go back to normal and build 2 guns for what I paid for one of them....

Or 2) If I sell it and the ban does pass, I'm out of my main battle right and now Im a cattle.......waiting for the sheep........you can only hold off with a Precision Rifle, Shotgun and Pistol for so long..
