The more I think of it the more I believe him to be a patsy. I mean, what moron grabs a non lethal gas gun to assassinate a political figure?????

I think its more likely that he was given it by certain individuals and was told it was a loaded handgun and all he had to do was pull the trigger.

I hate to be suspicious but ... the assailant is an ethnic Turk, the "victim" was an ethnic Turk party leader, the weapon in question was a GAS pistol and the guy at the podium reacted so fast you'd have thought he was clairvoyant. Hmmmmm ....
