I have some friend in the national guard that were given some switchblade knifes.
But unless you are in the national guard, swithcblade knifes are illegal to carry in CO.
So is there a way to register them so that when they get out of the national guard, they can keep and carry the knife.
Or are they SOL?
Here is where I was reading up on switchblade knifes:
Here it gives you a break down of what states consider them illegal.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Switchblade
Here is another link that gives some of the legal descriptions:
http://pweb.netcom.com/~brlevine/co.txt
Inside this link it says: "or member of the armed forces of the United States or Colorado National Guard acting in the lawful discharge of his duties, or that said person has a valid permit and license for possession of such weapon."
So is there a way to get a permit/license to carry a switchblade, and where would one start for information?
edit to add:* I believe they are gerber a06... I think like this:http://www.888knivesrus.com/c=9Rmn34...AUTOMATIC.html

Thanks guys
