So, I find myself wondering if I should trade out my rarely ever used Saiga s-12 for an Arsenal AK? Discuss.

All you have to do is listen to what your head tells you. NO, not that one!

Do you guys think asking to trade somebody a self converted s-12 for an arsenal or other high quality AR would be unreasonable?
Okay fine, Arsenals are pretty sweet. I would go with the AK honestly, I love the platform and if I would have shot one before I got into AR I would have gone with the AKs.

Mine is pretty reliable with the CSS low brass kit. It does suck having a failure and having to adjust the gas settings though. Or, like last time I shot it, you forget to put in the gas puck after cleaning. That will make it not cycle very well regardless of gas setting..
I'd think in this day and age a S12 would be worth more too. One sold on here unconverted for like $1200 the other day.

I was just in Jensen's this evening (in Loveland for those who aren't familiar) and the guy I was talking to took a call on the phone; the dude on the other end asked how much a Saiga-12 would run. The guy at the counter asked one of the other guys who said typically $800-900, but that they had seen them selling as high as $1500. I was like, $1500 are you kidding me. I would have a hard enough time with $800-900....
