Really? We're just a bit beyond "taking the high road" with some of these lefties (sorry to insult your people). There are only so many times one can "turn the other cheek" before it's time to stand up and throw a few punches of our own. Sites and groups like we're talking about here don't give a shit how we present ourselves or our views, they are the same folks who think this world would be a better place if all gun owners just turn our guns on ourselves. Why don't you step out of your utopian box and come into the real world for a change? The only way to stop a wolf is to take on some of the traits a wolf has, like teeth, and fight. Kind words don't work on those who don't care to hear your words.

the point of the matter is if you look at the coverage he was bemoaning, it was not false. They just pointed out like we are pointing out that there is a problem. We just don't agree with their solution. Nothing really false there.

Wife and I were on our way there when the DJ on the radio said something along the lines of "I'm here at the Dixie Gun Show, there was just an accidental discharge and someone was shot in the hand."
We turned the car around and headed home.

Back in high school after some school dance, 3 of my friends and myself were going to go to the haunted houses (there are some EXCELLENT haunted houses in Kansas City) after the dance. We went to one of the girls' house to change and her mom was like, you guys aren't going. We're like, what, why? She turned on the news, there was a gang shootout at one of the haunted houses.

We ALMOST didn't go home to change and if we didn't, we would have been there right when the shooting took place. It was a little jaw dropping at the time.
