It was an M1 Garand, you know those 8 round internal mags that are now illegal in NY are the problem.
Looks like 15 year old boy killed his family, sent a picture of his dead mother to his girlfriend. Home school family, Dad was ex con. If dad was ex con how come there was firearm/s in the house? Nothing about black rifles on the local news. They did mention 4-5 other mass murders in last 10 years.
Neighbors said only good things. Didn't see it coming.

Fox 31 this morning was pointing out a military style assault rifle was in the home.
They had about 3 or 4 bits that were biased against guns.

It sucks when what should be a conservative leaning news, er "fair and balanced," affiliate has such a left bias. I'm pretty disappointed with Fox31 lately. They seem to have a lot of anti interviews and too much misinformation and scary black rifle stuff.
