    Default AR Magazine FAQ

I came across this and wanted to share it.
(Searched COAR15 for the URL and did not find it; so I'm taking a stab that it has not been previously posted)

    http://magfaq.tripod.com/

It is not complete, but does provide a summary of some useful info.

You do know that is 12 years old and the best mags are not even listed in there...

Apparently you are not aware that some of us collect magazines. The post has some info as to manufacturers and approximate dateline of usage.

It is not intended to be a Consumer Reports of "What's Hot and What's Not".

If you wish, you can ask the mods to move this post to the Military Rifles section. Since it was more concerned with mags than rifles, I put it in the Magazine forum. It's your choice where you want it posted.

Honestly had never crossed my mind that magazines could be a collectable. I guess I should trade out my old ones to a collector

No shit. With everything going on my 20 UI's & prancing ponies are back in the $100 range.

Here's another one with some good info.

I have a bunch of unissued shiny follower 1st contract Colt .223 (and some dull follower Colt 5.56) marked 20's...I should see what they're going for these days.
