    6/10 Kinda cryptic, it took me too long to discern what you were ranting about. Not enough blame being passed. Not long enough. +1 for the banana ass-pounding image. Should have ranted on your 1,000th post.

    Sorry, 2/10. SS/Medicare has been a ponzy scheme..Always has..

    You have the balls to tell the Nam' generation they don't deserve their SS/Medicare? And if so, why? They paid into it...

    Not at all but Congress will spend "steal" it all before I get what we payed for in trade for a vote. so our s/s is on borrowed $ Medicare was a good thing but now we have O'CARE because they broke Medicare

    Reading these kind of posts reminds me that I was damn lucky to have retired in 1992. I never feel guilty getting my little monthly retirement checks because I paid my fair share into that damn Social Security ( actually was Railroad Retirement) and our Government did a fine job of pissing so much of it away in a careless manner.

    You should never feel guilty getting your monthly retirement checks You worked for it . The new thing is not to work for it and some how we owe them.I do not mind helping a person that is down but some one that take advantage of the system is B.S and congers not addressing the problem just compounding it
