    I just picked it up and dropped it off at the laser engraving place. I'm glad the other guys who recommended First Choice Awards had good luck there, but they screwed up my new receiver nicely. Apparently they tried to use some sort of agressive bit as a last resort and put a big gouge on the first letter. The person at the laser engraving place couldn't understand why they chose to do what they did...anyhoo, the laser place is going to try to fix their blunder and the lady at First Choice said they would cover the cost, she even asked how much the receiver cost...we'll see. If the SBR paperwork wasn't such a pain, I would have asked them to replace the receiver.

    wow, sorry that happened. what kind of finish do you have on your gun? the job they did for me came out nice and clean, but my finish wasnt anything special.
