Yes, read it. Looks like you didn't. The police didn't say he used the Bushmaster, just that it "seized from the attacker". You're doing the same thing the reporter in the story did, assume that because it was seized that it was used. I didn't say the Bushmaster was or wasn't used. I said the police have confirmed they seized it. Still no confirmation from the police it was used. The police reports are supposed to be released in March. That's when we'll know. Until then I reserve judgment.

It says "exactly what weapons were used..." and there is a separate section that says "Seized from suspects car...."

Congrats on staying hat free. I just got my 30 day chip, but once again you missed my point. The question was what guns were used. The answer given was these guns were seized. The mistake I accuse you and the reporter of making is the incorporation of the subject matter of the question into the answer. The answer denotes seizure and location, but not actual use. The first indication of use we got from the coroner who ID'd the wound channels as consistent with a rifle. Sure we can say with reasonable confidence that the shotgun, being in the car, was not used. But claiming that any one of the firearms found inside was or was not used is beyond the publicly available facts.

I like to read between the lines, yes, but I am hardly a conspiracy theorist. I merely pointed out that the police identified seizure, not actual use. I continue to wait for the full report to come out in March before I say I know what firearms were used. I'm not touting some vast conspiracy, though I do find it very interesting that not one report concerning spent casings has leaked. But that's where it ends for me, interesting, as in, I'll continue to watch for details on this in the future.
