    Default Rem 887 nitromag tac or Benelli nova tac?

    So I am looking at getting a shotgun,any thoughts or experience with the rem 887,or the benelli?the rem looks kinda cool and I like that the barrel can except chokes,the benelli does not accept chokes however can a shotgun barrel be threaded to accept chokes?anyways does anybody have any advice on the two,thanks in advance

    I was not aware that the Nova does not have interchangable choke tubes. Are you sure about this? Most barrels can be machined to accept "thin wall" choke tubes but thats going to be pretty expensive for what is basically an entry level shotgun.

    The 887s have a pretty bad track record among folks who used them.
