Everyone please step away from the keyboard and chill out.
Divided we fall comes to mind.
You know I like my coffee sweet in the morning
and I'm crazy about my tea at night
Centennial Gun Club has great staff. I was in there last weekend not looking to buy anything but to see if they could help me fix my ar that I recently lost in a boating accident. Bill dropped what he was doing, grabbed his personal tool box and helped me out with a smile on his face.
I used to live in Columbus, Ohio and a store there, Vance's, was always a pain to visit. Everyone there had a horrible attitude and acted like you were ruining their day be being there.
Blucore yesterday - fantastic service and very helpful as always. Got what I needed
Green mountain yesterday - complete assholes. As usual. Horrible inventory for anything. Looks like they should just close the doors
5280 today - great service and they were all very friendly and helpful. got what I needed
M.g.t today - not as friendly as usual, but got what I needed. However, their prices are absurd. Spikes lower is $ 699. 556 ammo ( federal) 500 for $500.
That's usually how my experiences pan out... I don't understand why people rag on 5280, Matt & Gina are always awesome with me... maybe that's because out of my last 5 guns, 4 of them came from 5280. Perhaps, and I believe HBAR was eluding to this, all the thin skinned folks go to 5280 and when they don't encounter someone uber friendly they get butthurt?? I dunno. But GMG sucks, IMHO, and Gunsmoke is by far the worst I've ever been to.

[MOD EDIT: I think this post was a compliment, but it seems to have offended the person getting complimented, so to keep things nice, I'll edit it]

Budsgunshop.com or Galleryofguns.com
There's no need for expert advice these days when you can be the expert and get all of the information you need at the click of a mouse.
Plus... You can usually save quite a bit of money buying online. Even if the price is only a few dollars less than retail saving 8% sales tax on a $600+ adds up.
[MOD EDIT: Inflammatory]
On the subject... I have to jump to FL's defense. Granted I've only been there a few times, but I've never had a problem, especially with the employees (some of the patrons made me nervous) as I've always been treated well. Everyone is different, having worked in customer service for a better part of my life, dealing with the public can be a crap shoot. Some people really suck, and I don't care who you are, sometimes the shitty people really do affect you. No one is perfect, and sometimes you are "that guy" that asks the dumbest question for the 1,000th time, and the person at the counter has run out of patience on that subject... It happens to the best of us. I caught a lot of crap for my job while I was in the military- I lost count of how many times I've heard that "Military intelligence, there's an oxymoron!" retarded joke. Every time someone new said it I'd get surly with them and say "wow, never heard that one before!" and shake my head, walk away...
