That is the point that RMGO is making, Dudley was volunteering for a candidate to make the mailer. Even if what he did was wrong it does not allow them to gain access to RMGO information.

In defense of Dudley... what if he found it via a google images search and there was no copyright information with the picture? Did you know that all your pictures posted to FB are not your copyrighted material, it becomes property of FB and can be used by them for whatever purpose they want?

I'm sorry, even if we are to trust everything that is reported, where exactly does it say Mr. Brown created this artwork? That's right, that isn't alleged. He is being subpoenaed, along with another gun rights organization, simply for being connected (in an unnamed fashion). That could be anything from providing a quote about their firearms record, to providing a RMGO rating, to providing personal comment, donating money for postage, god only knows what.

Furthermore, a subpoena does not indicate anything valid in any construction of the imagination. Did you know attorneys can write subpoenas out their ass all day long? They are never issued by a judge. Pro se parties get them signed off by court clerks, but attorneys make them up as they go and shit them out like candy.

I for one can say for absolute certain that Dudley is not a graphic artist nor does he have the expertise to manipulate photos like this (why? because he was looking for gfx help). Might one of his staff performed it? Possibly, but unlikely and speculatory. The photo edit most certanly was performed by the person being sued. Are all of you daft, or just idiots? Dudley nor RMGO is being sued in this case. He is being subpoenaed as a witness.

If it was believed that Dudley edited this photo don't you believe that he would be the subject of the lawsuit?

So, it's a safe argument that he has no real involvement, yet they are subpoenaing not one, but two firearm rights organizations.

And by far and large, save for the "pink pistols" what agenda do the vast majority of the san fransisco packer team stand for? Just in case some of the chuckleheads can't figure it out.. they don't like firearms and would love to provide DB information to some of their proponents.

Lack of a (C) next to an image does not even remotely mean it's not a copyrighted image. Additionally, a Google image search pulls up every image they (Google) can find on that search topic, with copyright info often being cropped off the images.

Just because every single pistol in your local gun shop doesn't explicitly say "do not steal" on it doesn't mean you can walk out the door with it without paying. While the internet has made IP theft far easier than it ever has been before, it's still very much theft.
