I saw the Human Hoist on that show where people turn in their inventions to get money from investors. I thought it was kind of silly and always wondered how mechanics felt about them.

Not that I thought it was silly, just that I couldn't imagine anyone paying what they must be worth.

There were some talk to apply it to the current powered chair for the disable: To reach top shelf, extend upward, lean backward etc. I think they'll find a better market that way.

i saw the show, if you have ever spent any real time crawling off the shop floor doing a big auto project you would want one.

The testing showed that a man getting off the floor from under a car puts 1500 psi on his joints. i have built several custom projects, mostly off road related, i can tell you that after 10 hours of setting up, fabricating, welding etc on a custom suspension i feel like i have been in a car accident.

if they hit the market i will buy one. I believe the were talking about $900-$1000, I would sell a rifle to get one of these, i dropped 5 times that on ammo in the last 2 weeks. sorry but when i get around to building my stang, i will have one of these. well worth the money when you are over 40.

if you are not doing a serious project then you probably dont have a use for one, i expect i will be 2-3 nights a week for over a year depending on what condition the stang is in to start with. this thing will take the strain out of that project.

    Completely worthless.

Did they show it roll over a air line? How about the wrench laying on the floor? Or a 10-24 nut, that no caster wheel in the world can get over?

    Just saying...
