dogs will bark, there is no excuse for not training your pet as well as you can. Dog owners know when their dog is being a a problem. And they know when their neighbors have had enough. Then they are surprised when someone takes it out on the pet. If you are not at least trying to restrain your pets actions then you are also partly to blame.

I am not condoning shooting the dog, but i have honestly had neighbor dogs that I have considered shooting. Never followed through only because of my general good nature, but man the owners have no respect for others

    EPIC WIN FOR KARMA!!!
barking dogs get put down AND no issues for neighbors who probably wanted to put that thing down themselves!!

Thanks for the follow-up. They cared so much for their pets that they couldn't even hear them being killed in the yard.

It's no wonder the neighbors had a problem. I really couldn't see it being the neighbors as it was so close to the court date. A resolution to the problem was soon at hand.

There were reports of a neighbor was earier seen walking a dog that had a remarkable resemblence to coyote.

I'll weigh in on this, because I've had an experience relating to barking dogs. We've had JCSO called on our dogs before (mostly due to us sitting for my cousin and her dog barks if the wind blows). We all work, can't be home 100% of the time, and can't just lock the dogs inside all day (I know, our fault we are lazy and don't want to clean up animal droppings inside our house). So our neighbor called to report our dogs. HOWEVER, the people across the street actually treat their dogs pretty poorly (not my place to call them in or anything like that) and these dogs consistently are barking and howling ever damn morning, but no calls on them?... so who's the asshole? We try to keep our dog from barking, but he's protective and we can't always stop him before he gets out into the yard and barks... but we try. I will tell you this- dogs bark, sometimes people can't be home all the time, and there isn't a whole lot you can do about it- so if you're a sick fvck that harms a dog because it's barking you deserve the same level of harm to befall you by the law of karma- maybe said sick fvck will have a can of paint fall on their head or something.

^What Ronin said. I've got 2 dogs. They're pretty chill but when they hear stuff, they go investigate and yes, bark. 90% of the time, they have a reason. Maybe they hear another dog on the other side of the fence, maybe they hear a loud noise, etc. One time, one of them started barking at me and I couldn't figure out why until I looked outside and the other dog was chewing up his food bowl in the yard. Lol. Little narc...Me and the GF can't be home all day. We have work, school, etc. We have a pen set up in the garage with a doggy door to the outside. I can't help things when I'm not at home. If I'm home, I'll make sure they keep it under control. If a neighbor shot one of my dogs, I'd be very, very unhappy. I would find out who did it and press full charges. I'm sure that person would also have an unfortunate series of flat tires...all 4 of them, every day until they moved. Ive lived by people that let their dogs bark non-stop at all hours of the night/morning. It's annoying but I dealt with it. Takes a sad individual to hurt someone's pet.

Exactly... in a case like that where the dog keeps barking, escalate legally- first confront the owners (unlike our d-bag neighbor who just went straight to the Sheriff's Dept.), if that doesn't work, call animal control or the PD. If still nothing, continue to file complaints until the law does something about it. There is no excuse to harm an animal simply because it's barking.

I would think the moral of the story is to wait until you get the facts before shooting off your yap.
