We certainly need to return to more courtesy and civility here. As of late, it's been sorely lacking.

    Thanks for the reminder boss!

Marlin, I couldn't help reading your definition and call for more "civility" just above your declaration of "sarcasm."

I am assuming that you are not being sarcastic about your desire for civility.

We are scared. Fear puts people on edge and then we lash out. We are showing the first signs of self destruction.

Agreed, but if we find a way to overcome those fears and stick together we will be invincible.

if we continue to turn on one another, it will eventually destroy this site and negatively effect shooting sports as a whole.

Courtesy is important. The current political crisis which threatens our way of life has obviously stressed a lot of people out.

If we can't be civil to each other on a keyboard what does that say about how we'd treat each other FTF ?

With much more civility? It's easy to come off brash and inconsiderate online. I don't see that happening in person. I've taken a lot of what I've read the past few weeks with a grain of salt due the stress that the current political climate is putting on us. There isn't a member here that I wouldn't enjoy going to the range or sitting down for a beer with.

Maybe I'm getting to be a fossil I wouldn't treat anyone any different in person than I would online.
