yeah yeah yeah. When you go to bed at 2 AM and have to get up at 5, visions of really weird things happening with your gun in your hand start popping into your head. :P

Glad to hear it was a great match. To make up for missing it, I'll start setting aside time and money NOW to fanagle my way down to Pueblo, just so you don't have to drive so far.

Results have been sent out and are on the website. 14 new shooters and 61 total came out to play. Thanks for all the help. See you next month.

    Default May Match

I just wanted to say thanks for a great day and for a real helpful bunch of folks for a IDPA New Shooter. I'll be there next time around and maybe I'll have a few less points against my time!

I do have a question, were exactly is/was the Safety Area? I read through the pink Match Conduct Safety Course and as a result I have a long, drawn out question regarding it, but just answering this may save me writing an essay of a question!

Okay, thanks. I know where you are speaking and recall the SO pointing that out. So the question would be, after the end of the match and you are wanting to put everything away, are you to go to the Safety Area and pack your firearm away (un-holster, fumble with your gun) into your range bag at that location? It appeared that many did not. According to page 6, that should be the procedure with the exception of ammo and mags, if I'm not mistaken.

After a match several things happen.

Some dont take their gun off at all.

Some go to the safety area and put their gun in their range bag.

Some have an SO call the line hot well forward and bag their gun them.

And some just wait until they get back to their car.

    All are legal and accepted.

Just dont handle a pistol outside of a safety area or the confines of your car, or wait until a SO tells you to.
All those moments will be lost in time,
    like tears in rain

    Default Feb match?

How are we looking? Seems a decent forecast on hand, relatively clear and kinda cold (though not compared to what it's been lately ). Be nice to get out and shoot again, assuming the weather cooperates...
