I think thats a more fitting term. Its like branding in advertizement. I'm going to start refering to everything they want to ban as a PDW to see if I can get it to stick. Sounds much better to the uninitiated than assault weapon.

If they can have them, I can have them. That's where the conversation needs to go.

And AFAIK, a PDW is a small caliber SBR. So not only are they buying select fire rifles we can't buy, but they are getting them with barrels that cost us an extra $200 "tax"...
